Mr. Parker started his career off out of high school by joining the United States Army at the early age of seventeen, where he served honorably for six years. In that time, Mr. Parker earned several awards, and deployed to Mogadishu, Somalia with the 101st (ABN) for combat operations and then later assessed and was selected into the US Army's only Special Operations Aviation Regiment (The160th SOAR) where he finished off his term of enlistment.
 
After the Military, Mr. Parker attained his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and began his interest in the private security industry. Mr. Parker worked for various agencies throughout central Florida where he gained valuable experience in Corporate Security, High-Risk Security, Investigations and Executive Protection.
 
In 2004, Mr. Parker attended a vetting and selection course for the Department of State's World-Wide Personal Protective Services Contract where he worked as a Protective Security Specialist for Blackwater throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. During this time, Mr. Parker achieved key positions most notably as a Shift/Team Leader for the US Ambassador to Iraq's Protective Detail.
 
In 2009, Mr. Parker accepted a limited career appointment with the Diplomatic Security Service as a Subject Matter Expert on High Threat Protection and Anti-Terrorism Tactics. Mr. Parker spent the next 3 years in the tribal region of Peshawar Pakistan and the Southern region of Basrah, Iraq.
 
Since leaving the Diplomatic Security Service, Mr. Parker went on hiatus to the UAE where he worked supervising Military and Police Instructors.
 
After ten years in the Middle East and South-West Asia, Mr. Parker returned back home to Florida where he started Select-International.
